Today I will show how to search for articles using PubMed.

When I was interning as a nutritionist in the hospital, we needed to consult many papers to know patients' conditions to write their nutritional plans.

This is PubMed home page :

Search Field

1. Quick Search： enter keywords or search with constraints。
2. Advanced search： including
1. Search by: Author, Journal, Publication Date, and more
2. Limit by: Topics, Languages, and Journal Groups
3. Index of Fields and Field Values
4. Search History

Here is an example :

I enter the 'Probiotics', and we see papers, filters ...etc.

Filters

If we want to identify a specific disease related to probiotics, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), we need to enter some "Operator": OR, AND, NOT.

Quick search: Probiotics AND Irritable Bowel Syndrome

In PubMed search results, after searching for keywords, many articles will be found.

Among these papers, the first appearance is more associated with your keywords.
